Summary

The judiciary has announced the execution of Ali Fahim, one of the detainees from the December protests.

Ali Fahim’s charges include “participation in operational actions against the security of the country” and “entering classified military sites with the intention of removing weapons and military ammunition, as well as destroying and setting fire to government property with the aim of opposing the Islamic Republic of Iran system.”

Mizan, the judiciary’s news agency, reported that the ruling issued by the Supreme Court had been confirmed.

This is the eleventh execution of political prisoners following the nationwide protests of December 12203.

Mr. Fahim was involved in the same case as Amir Hossein Hatami, Mohammad Amin Bikelari, and Shahin Vahid Parast, who were executed in the past few days.
