The Taliban’s Minister of Higher Education, Neda Mohammad Nadim, has stated that, by the order of the Taliban leader, Mullah Hibatullah, job opportunities have been provided for 1,555 outstanding graduates.
According to him, Mullah Hibatullah has instructed several ministries to employ these outstanding graduates within their institutions.
The Taliban say that this measure is being taken to employ educated youth and reduce the unemployment rate.
This comes at a time when, following the Taliban’s return to power, many young people have been forced to migrate to foreign countries through difficult and illegal routes due to unemployment.
