The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says emergency humanitarian assistance has been distributed to 191 flood-affected families in Bargi Matal district of Nuristan province.
According to OCHA, the assistance includes tents, blankets, winter supplies, and health kits, provided with the support of the organization’s humanitarian partners and donors.
Recent floods in Nuristan have caused significant financial losses for many families and destroyed the homes and shelters of numerous households. Flood-affected families continue to require urgent humanitarian assistance.
