Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban, says that nine civilians, including women and children, were killed and 11 others wounded in Pakistani airstrikes on parts of Kunar and Helmand provinces.
According to Mujahid, residential areas in the Shaltan and Chawkay districts of Kunar, as well as the Garmser district of Helmand, were targeted in the strikes.
