Iranian media say at least 104 people were killed and 32 wounded after a U.S. military strike last week targeted an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean.

Reports say the strike happened hundreds of miles away from the main conflict area and was carried out without any prior warning.

Iranian outlets are calling the attack a violation of international maritime law and humanitarian standards. So far, the United States has not issued an official response.
