According to Reuters, the attacks targeted a warehouse in the Maila district and other locations across Kyiv overnight.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the strike on the warehouse in Maila, saying that 26 people were killed and dozens more injured.

According to the Ukrainian president, the attack caused a fire and a secondary explosion, resulting in significant damage to nearby infrastructure.

Zelenskyy criticized the movement of ammunition near homes and residential areas, saying that officials whose negligence contributed to the situation would be held accountable and punished.

Zelenskyy also said that Russian attacks continued across Ukraine throughout the night, targeting the regions of Odesa, Dnipro, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Donetsk, and Chernihiv.

Reuters reported that several people were also killed in Russian strikes on other parts of the Ukrainian capital, including a 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old girl.

According to the news agency, Russia has targeted Kyiv with multiple drone attacks for the third consecutive night, marking the beginning of a renewed campaign aimed at striking the capital.
