Reaction by Sami Sadat to the killing of Hasib Panjshiri: “His position will not remain vacant.”
Sami Sadat, leader of the “United Afghanistan Front,” has reacted to the killing of Hasib Panjshiri, a commander of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF), saying that his position will not remain vacant.
In a message posted on X, Sadat referred to Hasib Panjshiri as the “hero of the Hindu Kush” and described his death as a painful loss.
Expressing his condolences over the commander’s death, Sadat said that sacrificing one’s life in the struggle for Afghanistan’s freedom is a great source of honor and pride for a fighter.
“Your brothers in the United Afghanistan Front will not leave your position vacant,” Sadat said.
Hasib Panjshiri, a senior commander of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, was reportedly killed by Taliban forces. However, details regarding the exact time, location, and circumstances of his death have not yet been released.
Sources within the Taliban have said that Hasib Panjshiri, also known as “Hasib Qowai Markaz,” was killed in the northern Salang area.
The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has said that, after reviewing the incident and obtaining more precise information, it will officially release details regarding the circumstances of his death.
