Tadeen Khan, the former police chief of Kandahar, has said that the Afghan people are left without adequate protection due to the absence of a legitimate and inclusive government in Afghanistan.
Tadeen Khan described Pakistan as a long-standing adversary of Afghanistan and held the Taliban responsible for Islamabad’s recent attacks on Afghan territory.
Referring to Pakistan’s recent airstrikes on Kunar and Helmand, he said the attacks demonstrate the nature of Taliban rule and what he described as their inability to protect the country.
He called on international organizations to seriously investigate Pakistan’s airstrikes on Afghan territory, the killing of civilians, and what he described as “war crimes.”
