The national resistance front of Afghanistan (NRF) says its forces carried out an attack on the district center of Guzargah-e Noor in Baghlan province.
In a statement, the National Resistance Front said the attack was carried out at around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday night (29 Asad).
The statement said that, as a result of a rocket attack on the district center of Guzargah-e Noor, one Taliban member was killed and two others were wounded.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the incident.
The National Resistance Front’s report of the attack on a district center comes a day after it confirmed the death of Hasib Panjshiri, one of its senior commanders.
The Taliban had previously refrained from responding to alleged attacks by armed opposition groups and denied their presence. However, last night, the National Resistance Front said the killing of Hasib Panjshiri exposed the Taliban’s narrative as false.
