The “United front of Afghanistan” claims that its forces have killed a member of the Taliban’s ministry for the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice in Kabul.
In a statement published on X (Wednesday, 11 September ), the front said that the Taliban official, identified as “Qari Aghagul,” was killed in the area under the jurisdiction of the 18th Security District of Kabul.
The group also claims that its forces killed another Taliban member along the route to Kohistanat District in Sar-e Pul Province.
In a separate statement, the “United Front of Afghanistan” said that the Taliban member was serving in the fourth unit of Sar-e Pul Province and was killed at around 6:00 p.m. yesterday (Tuesday, 10 Sonbola).
The front announced yesterday that, during the first month of its military activities, it had carried out 43 operations across 14 provinces, claiming that 74 Taliban members were killed and another 35 were wounded as a result.
The Taliban, however, have so far not confirmed any of the attacks claimed by the group.
