Authorities say that a fire broke out this afternoon at an air conditioner manufacturing factory in the industrial city of Herat.
In a statement issued on Saturday (June 16), the Taliban’s media office for Herat reported that the fire was brought under control through the timely efforts of firefighting teams, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the industrial area.
According to the statement, no casualties were reported in the incident; however, the factory owner sustained financial losses.
The statement did not provide details regarding the cause of the fire or the exact extent of the damage.
