The media office of the Taliban governor in Nangarhar said in a statement on Saturday, 30th of Ghorgholi, that the patient was brought to the hospital in a critical condition, but due to the efforts of specialist doctors, he was saved from a serious risk of death.

Zabihullah Roofi, head of the Nangarhar Hemodialysis Hospital, stated that with the support of the hospital’s specialized team and advanced medical equipment, the treatment of complex and severe kidney diseases is now being carried out effectively. According to him, the operation was successfully performed by urology specialists and an experienced surgical team.

Health officials say that the presence of specialist doctors in hospitals and the availability of modern medical equipment have made it possible for many complex conditions to be treated domestically and at the regional level.

The patient’s family also expressed satisfaction with the prompt and successful intervention of the hospital’s surgical team and praised the efforts of the medical staff.
