Former Member of Afghanistan’s Wolesi Jirga from Herat, Ghulam Farooq Nazari, has passed away.
Nazari died on Friday, 9th of Asad, in a hospital in Kabul due to illness.
Ghulam Farooq Nazari was considered one of Herat’s political figures and served as the province’s representative in the 16th term of Afghanistan’s Wolesi Jirga.
During his tenure in parliament, he worked on economic affairs and issues related to representing Herat province.
He also served as a member of the National Economy Commission of the Wolesi Jirga.
