Ehsanullah Ehsan, Head of Public Relations at the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI), announced that the Governor of Uzbekistan’s Fergana Region, accompanied by a delegation of 120 businesspeople, arrived in Kabul on Sunday morning.
According to Mr. Ehsan, with the arrival of this delegation, the total number of Uzbek businesspeople and investors who have entered Afghanistan since yesterday has reached 300.
He added that the delegation traveled to Kabul to participate in the Joint Afghanistan–Uzbekistan Business Forum. The one-day event is expected to focus on expanding trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, the forum will bring together private sector representatives and economic officials from both sides to discuss strengthening bilateral trade, increasing investment, and enhancing broader economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
