In his speech to the staff of the Ministry of Finance in Kandahar, Hibatullah Akhundzada warned about the management of customs revenues and emphasized that these funds belong to the public treasury and should never be considered personal property.
He highlighted the importance of properly managing and utilizing these resources, urging officials to handle and spend customs revenues with greater care and vigilance, using them for the benefit of the public and the country’s needs.
The Taliban leader also advised customs employees to enhance their religious knowledge in this area so that they can carry out their duties with greater awareness and responsibility.
