The construction and paving of a 10-kilometer road in Khivors village, Yawan district, Badakhshan province, was completed and put into operation with a cost of 10 million Afghanis, funded by the local residents.
Abdulmanan Mukhles, the district governor of Yawan, said that the road was built with the cooperation and funding of the local people, and that previously residents faced serious difficulties in commuting.
He added that with the completion of this route, people’s travel has become easier, and residents now have better access to different areas.
