The Afghanistan goldsmiths’ association has announced that, for the first time, an industrial exhibition dedicated to gold and jewelry will be held in Kabul.
According to the association, the three-day exhibition will take place in Kabul from the 3rd to the 5th of Sunbula this year, showcasing products and activities related to the jewelry and goldsmithing industry.
The Afghanistan Goldsmiths’ Association stated that the exhibition aims to promote the country’s jewelry industry, strengthen ties among stakeholders in the sector, and create new business opportunities.
However, the association has not yet provided accurate figures on the number of active goldsmiths in Afghanistan or the level of investment made in the industry.
Previously, numerous national and international exhibitions featuring agricultural products, industrial goods, and other commercial products have been held in Kabul and various provinces across the country. However, this will be the first dedicated industrial exhibition for Afghanistan’s goldsmithing and jewelry industry in Kabul.
