Summary

The Taliban say that despite some tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan, there has been no negative impact on the activities and implementation process of regional economic projects.

The Taliban spokesperson added that work on all projects being developed between Central and South Asia is continuing in an orderly manner.

Zabihullah Mujahid also emphasized that the group remains committed to implementing regional economic development projects and completing this process.

According to Mujahid, although economic and political relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan have recently weakened to some extent due to rising tensions, work on projects such as TAPI, TAP, CASA-1000, and Afghan Trans continues. These projects can play an important role in the region’s economic development.

Mujahid said: “The TAPI project is under construction in Afghanistan, and the work is progressing normally. In fact, it has accelerated. The TAP project and some other projects are still in the research phase, and their studies have been completed. There are no obstacles hindering them. We are striving to ensure that major projects move forward smoothly and normally.”
