Officials from a manufacturing company have announced the commencement of production of 100 city buses for the city of Kabul. According to them, each bus has the capacity to transport 50 passengers and is intended for use in urban public transportation.
Based on the information provided, the company has also succeeded in producing high-speed vehicles as well as standard threshing machines. Company representatives state that domestic production capacity for these vehicles has been established and that manufacturing is ongoing.
The officials added that, if demand increases, the high-speed vehicles can be produced and made available to the market within 20 days. They described this development as evidence of the technical and manufacturing capabilities of the country’s automotive industry sector.
According to the company, the launch of city bus production and other vehicles is part of broader efforts to develop domestic production, create employment opportunities, and strengthen industrial capacity in the country.
This comes as increased attention to domestic production and the expansion of national industries has, in recent years, become a key focus of economic and industrial development policy.
