Reuters, citing an American official, reported that U.S. President Donald Trump is dissatisfied with the new proposal from the Islamic Republic because it does not address Iran’s nuclear program.
According to the report, Donald Trump reviewed the proposal put forward by the Islamic Republic with his senior national security advisors.
Iranian sources had stated on Monday that the proposal delays discussions on Iran’s nuclear program until the end of the war and also postpones resolving disputes related to shipping in the Gulf.
In contrast, Washington has emphasized that issues related to Iran’s nuclear program must be addressed from the very beginning of the negotiations.
