The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates has announced that UAE citizens are prohibited from traveling to Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq until further notice. This decision has been made in light of the “current developments in the region” and has been officially published by the Ministry.
The statement further mentions that UAE citizens currently residing in these three countries must leave as soon as possible and return to the UAE. UAE officials have emphasized that a dedicated contact number has been set up to monitor the status of their citizens.
The announcement also notes that no further details have been provided regarding the duration of this travel ban or the conditions under which it may be lifted, and the situation is still being assessed.
