The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced on Thursday that the country has imposed a new package of sanctions against individuals and entities linked to the Islamic Republic.
According to a statement released by the U.S. Treasury, these sanctions have been implemented as part of measures related to counterterrorism and restrictions imposed on the Islamic Republic.
In this sanctions package, several individuals and companies have been added to the list of those targeted. U.S. officials stated that some of these individuals and entities have been specifically targeted for activities connected to Tehran.
Additionally, a number of Iraqi and Cuban individuals and companies that have collaborated or had connections with the sanctioned parties have also been included in the new U.S. sanctions list.
