Tolo News has confirmed that two of its journalists, Imran Danish and Mansoor Niazi, have been detained in Kabul city. The media outlet’s officials said that so far it is unclear to them why the journalists were arrested and where they are currently being held.
The Taliban told Tolo News that after the completion of the relevant legal procedures, further details on this matter will be shared with the media.
Tolo News has stated that it is concerned about the condition of its journalists and has not yet obtained accurate information about their whereabouts or fate.
