Dauran Vahidov, head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, stated that in the first four months of 2026, Uzbekistan’s exports to Afghanistan reached 550 million U.S. dollars.
He added that in April alone, these exports increased to 160 million dollars, indicating the expansion of trade relations between the two countries.
According to Vahidov, the development of economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan is important for the growth of trade in the region.
