In the Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, in the Katlang area and the village of Sawaldher, a Pakistan Army training aircraft crashed during a routine training mission, resulting in the deaths of two pilots named Qasim Abdullah and Talha Abbasi.
Local sources report that two bystanders were also severely injured in the crash and were taken to hospital for treatment.
Pakistani authorities have confirmed the aircraft crash but have not yet released details regarding the cause of the incident. According to reports, an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
