Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has criticized the figures released by the U.S. Department of Defense, stating that the ongoing wars in the region, which continue at the instigation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, have so far caused about 100 billion dollars in direct financial losses to the U.S.
Araghchi added that these costs are not only a heavy burden on the U.S. economy but have also complicated the security situation in the region. He emphasized that the continuation of the wars benefits no party and that serious steps must be taken toward finding political solutions.
