Pakistani police have reported that an Afghan national was killed in a shooting by unidentified gunmen in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. According to police, the victim, identified as “Sartaj,” had been living in Khan Shergari village in the Nowshera district for the past 25 years.
Police said Sartaj’s body was discovered in agricultural fields near his residence. After the completion of legal procedures, his body was handed over to his family and transported to Afghanistan for burial.
Pakistani authorities have not yet released details regarding the motive behind the killing. Officials said the investigation to identify those responsible and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident is still ongoing.
