The leader of the Resistance Front, Ahmad Massoud, stated in an online ceremony marking the 8th of Sawr that although the majority of the Taliban members are Pashtuns, this group cannot represent the Pashtuns. He emphasized that the Taliban do not represent the will of the entire people of Afghanistan. Massoud further added that Pashtun politicians should raise public awareness against the policies of the Taliban and clarify to the people the actions and consequences of this group. These remarks were made at a time when the political situation of the country is still facing numerous challenges.
