Ali Bilal, Afghanistan’s bodybuilding champion, won the prestigious “New York Pro” competition in the United States by defeating his rivals. He secured first place in a close and intense contest, surpassing Adwan Palmira from Brazil, who took second place, while Isai Kesik from Indonesia finished third.
Ali Bilal, who had previously won the “New York Pro,” claimed this valuable title for the second time. His competition with the Brazilian contender in the men’s open physique category was very tight, and many experts had considered Adwan Palmira the favorite before the event. However, Bilal delivered a powerful and near-flawless performance that defied all predictions.
The Afghan athlete impressed the judges and audience with a well-prepared physique, balanced muscle mass, excellent definition, and high confidence on stage. His performance in the men’s physique division has been described as one of the standout displays of this year’s competition.
Ali Bilal has also won the “Arnold Classic 2024” and earned runner-up positions in the men’s physique category at the prestigious “Mr. Olympia” competitions in 2024 and 2025. After competing in the “New York Pro” on May 8–9, 2026, he is now preparing for the “Pittsburgh Pro,” scheduled for May 16–17, 2026.
