Kabul – An engineer named Shams, who had set himself on fire yesterday on the road near Kabul International Airport due to the severe pressure of unemployment, has died from serious burns.
Sources say that he was a resident of Kapisa province and the father of three daughters. He held two academic degrees in engineering and computer science, but had been struggling to find a job for a long time.
According to reports, Shams took this step because of hopelessness and economic pressure, and later died in the hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
