The Taliban police command in Ghor has announced that a drug trafficker carrying 61 kilograms of type “F” narcotics has been arrested in Ghor province.
The spokesperson for the Ghor police command said that the individual was arrested during an operation by security forces; however, no information has been provided regarding the suspect’s identity, the exact location of the arrest, or further details of the case.
Local Taliban authorities have not yet released additional information about the fate of the detained individual or how the narcotics were being transported.
Ghor province is among the regions where various cases of drug trafficking and transportation have been reported in recent years.
