The Police Command of Parwan Province has announced that eight people, including four children, were killed and 16 others injured in a tragic traffic accident in Shinwari District of the province.
According to the police, the accident occurred at around 9:00 a.m. today in the Estama Dara area on the road to Charikar City, when a vehicle veered off the road and overturned.
Officials added that the injured were transferred to a hospital, but the condition of many of them has been reported as critical.
The exact cause of the accident has not yet been determined, and official investigations are still underway.
