Local sources have informed media outlets that, around midday on Friday, 15 Jawza, an explosion occurred in the 11th police district of Kabul city.

According to these sources, the blast took place in front of the Sayyid al-Nasiri Boys’ School and in close proximity to the residence of Qudratullah Amini, the Taliban deputy governor in Kabul.

A video obtained by media outlets shows Taliban personnel transporting at least one injured individual from the scene in a Ranger-type vehicle.

Qudratullah Amini is originally from Panjshir province and previously served as the Taliban governor of that province.

So far, no precise details regarding the nature of the explosion have been released, and the relevant authorities have not commented on the incident.

Furthermore, no individual or group has yet claimed responsibility for the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
