In the provinces of Kunar and Nangarhar, heavy rainfall has triggered flash floods in several districts, causing significant financial losses to the local population.
Videos circulating on social media show that floods have also swept through various areas of Pachiragam district in Nangarhar province. So far, no official information has been released regarding possible casualties or the extent of material damage caused by these floods.
Meanwhile, Taliban authorities have stated that in some areas of Kunar province as well, floods have damaged agricultural lands, homes, and other property belonging to residents. According to officials, these natural disasters have caused severe financial losses to local inhabitants.
At present, no precise figures on the extent of the damage or further details regarding relief efforts have been released.
