Police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have announced that the Peshawar Counter-Terrorism Department, acting on intelligence-based information, conducted an operation in the Mirakchori area, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including an Afghan national.
According to a police statement, one of those killed was an Afghan national named Sayed Wali, son of Abdul Ghani, who was originally from Nangarhar Province. Police said that an Afghan refugee card was also recovered from him during the operation.
Police alleged that the individuals killed were involved in terrorist activities. However, they did not provide specific information or credible evidence regarding Sayed Wali’s or the other individuals’ affiliation with any particular militant group.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police described the operation as successful and based on intelligence information. However, they did not release further details about the identities of the three other individuals killed or their alleged affiliations with militant groups.
