Afghanistan’s sports authorities announced on Thursday that Gulabuddin Khpalwak has been elected as the acting president of the Afghanistan National Snooker Federation after securing a majority of the votes from snooker representatives from Kabul and the country’s provinces.
According to the authorities, the election process was held in the presence of all snooker representatives, with Khpalwak receiving the highest number of votes and assuming leadership of the federation.
Gulabuddin Khpalwak previously served as the technical deputy of the Afghanistan National Snooker Federation.
