Summary

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has claimed that Jeffrey Epstein, the American financier and convicted sex offender involved in cases of sexual abuse and trafficking, had connections with high levels of U.S. and Israeli intelligence institutions. He made the remarks during an interview on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

During the conversation, Joe Rogan asked Vance whether speculation about Epstein’s alleged links to Mossad was accurate. In response, Vance said that such connections could have involved Mossad, the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), or other covert state-affiliated organizations, including those connected to the United States or Israel.

The U.S. vice president further claimed that Epstein was “clearly” connected to the highest levels of intelligence institutions in both the United States and Israel. He made the allegation during the podcast without providing evidence or additional details.

Vance went on to say that, in his view, Epstein’s connections in Israel were primarily with figures associated with the center-left rather than the center-right. He also stated that Epstein had friends and acquaintances from both the Democratic and Republican parties in the United States.

In another part of the interview, Vance acknowledged that the White House had not handled the release of documents related to the Epstein case effectively, but he emphasized that this shortcoming was not the result of an attempt to conceal information.

Jeffrey Epstein, an American financier, was initially convicted and imprisoned on charges related to the sexual abuse of underage girls. After his release, he was arrested again on charges of sex trafficking, and his case became one of the most controversial legal cases in the United States.

According to released documents, Epstein maintained relationships with numerous prominent figures in politics, business, academia, and the arts during his lifetime and hosted some of them at his luxury residences across the United States and on his private island. Court documents have also referenced the names of several well-known individuals in connection with visits to his circles; however, appearing in these documents does not necessarily indicate involvement in criminal activity.

The New York Police Department announced that Jeffrey Epstein died on August 10, 2019, while in custody at a detention facility in the state of New York. U.S. authorities ruled his death a suicide, although the case continues to be the subject of widespread public speculation and debate.
