John Kerry, the former U.S. Secretary of State, has stated that the proposed plans by Benjamin Netanyahu for an attack on Iran were opposed during various U.S. presidential administrations.
According to him, during Barack Obama’s presidency, the proposals put forward by the Israeli Prime Minister for military action against Iran were not accepted, and this approach was not pursued at that time.
Kerry also noted that these plans did not receive the necessary support during other periods either, and U.S. presidents did not approve them.
Based on these statements, similar proposals were also opposed during the presidencies of Joe Biden and George W. Bush and did not reach the implementation stage.
The former U.S. Secretary of State emphasized that, in general, these plans were reviewed at various decision-making levels in the United States but were ultimately not approved.
