Hamid Karzai, the former President of Afghanistan, published a message in which he congratulated Frishta Khani, the Afghan athlete in boxing, for winning the gold medal at the competitions held in Pakistan.
In his message, Mr. Karzai praised the success of this athlete and wished her and other Afghan athletes further progress and achievements in various sports fields.
Frishta Khani, an Afghan boxer, succeeded in winning the championship title and the gold medal at the national boxing competitions in Pakistan.
These competitions were held in the 50 kg weight category in Hyderabad city, Sindh province, where she managed to defeat all of her opponents with her outstanding performance.
According to the athlete, the competition lasted nearly a week, with participants from more than twenty provinces and regions of Pakistan taking part.
On her way to victory, Frishta Khani defeated three of her opponents and ultimately secured first place, earning the gold medal for herself and Afghanistan.
