According to an Infod report, Rashid Khan, Afghanistan’s prominent cricketer, has stated that his back injury has limited his participation in Test cricket matches.
Since 2023, Rashid has only been playing in some matches due to his back pain, and he mentioned that despite doctors’ advice, he continues to play. He added that if the back pain worsens in Test matches, he may no longer play in this format for Afghanistan and will focus on the 2027 World Cup.
So far, the Afghanistan Cricket Board has not commented on this matter.
