The Taliban spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, rejected the statements of General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, who had claimed that Afghan territory is being used against Pakistan.
Mujahid called these statements baseless and said that the Taliban do not allow anyone to threaten the security of another country from Afghan soil.
He emphasized that Afghanistan under Taliban rule seeks to strengthen regional security and does not support activities against other countries.
This reaction comes after the Pakistani army chief once again accused the Taliban of supporting armed groups and claimed that some attackers operate from Afghan territory.
