The Taliban’s Central Security and Clearance Commission, led by the group’s Defense Minister Mullah Yaqoob Mujahid, held a coordination meeting with security officials of the central zone, during which, after reviewing the security situation, emphasis was placed on the full implementation of the orders issued by Taliban leader Hibatullah Akhundzada.
The Taliban’s Central Security and Clearance Commission announced today, Sunday, 27 Sawr, that the meeting was held to coordinate security affairs and assess the situation in the central zone.
According to a Taliban statement, Mullah Yaqoob Mujahid described ensuring reliable security for the people as one of the Taliban’s fundamental responsibilities and urged security officials to intensify efforts to prevent crimes and provide effective services.
He listened to the concerns of officials from the provinces of Kabul, Parwan, Kapisa, Panjshir, Maidan Wardak, and Bamyan, and assured them that steps would be taken to address their problems.
During the meeting, based on the directive of Hibatullah Akhundzada, officials were advised to take practical measures for the swift and fair resolution of people’s problems.
The statement added that the security situation across the country, especially in the central zone, was comprehensively assessed during the session, and emphasis was placed on urgent measures to further strengthen security coordination.
The meeting comes as Hibatullah Akhundzada, in recent days, also asked members of the Ulema Council of Parwan and Kapisa provinces to convey his decrees and laws to the public during a meeting with them.
