In the latest ranking of the world’s best cricket players, Rashid Khan, the star of the Afghanistan national team, has retained his position as the top bowler in both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and T20 formats. He leads the ODI rankings with 705 points and the T20 rankings with 753 points.
In the ODI bowlers category, Rashid Khan stands first with 705 points. Following him, Jofra Archer is in second place with 649 points, and Keshav Maharaj from South Africa is third with 645 points.
In the T20 bowlers ranking, Rashid Khan remains at the top with 753 points. Varun Chakravarthy from India is in second place with 740 points, and Abrar Ahmed from Pakistan ranks third with 736 points.
In the ODI batsmen category, Ibrahim Zadran, an Afghanistan national team player, ranks third with 756 points. In this category, Daryl Mitchell from New Zealand leads with 815 points, followed by Virat Kohli from India with 791 points in second place.
The continued presence of Afghan players among the world’s cricket elite reflects the growth and prominent standing of the team in international cricket competitions.
