Gulalai Sapi, a former member of the Wolesi Jirga, has made strong criticisms of the current situation in Afghanistan in her recent statements. She said that the country’s rulers have deprived girls of education, and now, Pakistan’s attacks on educational institutions have heightened the fear that boys may also be prevented from receiving education.

Sapi described the lack of an air force as a serious concern, adding that the military equipment of the former regime has either been destroyed or rendered useless. According to her, this situation has weakened the country’s defense capabilities.

She also criticized NATO, saying that the alliance left Afghanistan to the same uncertain fate from which it had started.

Sapi further questioned how the country can maintain its airspace under the current conditions. In the end, she prayed for the security of the country, asking God to protect the nation from further troubles.

These remarks come at a time when recent airstrikes by the Pakistani military in Kunar province have destroyed parts of the Syed Jamaluddin Afghani University, causing significant casualties and financial losses to civilians.

On the other hand, since the Taliban’s return to power, Afghanistan’s airspace has repeatedly been violated by foreign drones, but so far, no clear or effective response has been seen from the rulers in this regard.
