Sara Adams, a former CIA officer, has stated that so far, no clear or tangible impact of recent Taliban operations has been observed on the structure and activities of the financial commission of ISIS-K in Nangarhar province.
She added that the group’s financial network remains active, particularly in Achin district of Nangarhar, and according to reports, continues to carry out its financial activities in an organized manner.
Sara Adams emphasized that although the Taliban occasionally conduct operations against ISIS, no significant progress has yet been seen in dismantling the financial and organizational structures of the network.
According to her, the ISIS-K branch is still trying to maintain its financial resources in the region and uses them to continue its activities.
So far, the Taliban have not issued an official response regarding these statements.
