Taliban intelligence forces shut down “Laps” office in Kabul.
Sources say that Taliban intelligence forces entered the Moby Group’s office in Kabul yesterday and shut down “Laps,” one of the media organization’s subsidiaries.
According to the sources, Taliban forces expelled Laps employees from the office and halted its operations. No further details have so far been released about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The incident comes after Taliban forces had previously raided the Moby Group’s office in Kabul and surrounded the facility for several hours.
During that incident, two employees of TOLOnews were also detained before Taliban forces raided the Moby Group’s office.
The reason for the closure of the Laps office remains unclear, and Taliban officials have not commented on the incident. Moby Group has also not yet issued an official statement explaining the closure of Laps.
