The European Union has constructed a new volleyball court in Bamyan Province following a request from young residents of Qawm-Nok village.
The EU Delegation in Afghanistan said that the village’s youth had requested the construction of a volleyball facility due to the lack of sports infrastructure, and the project was implemented through a joint effort by the European Union and the Aga Khan Development Network.
The delegation added on X that sports represent an important investment in young people’s health, mental well-being, and a positive future, and that support for similar projects will continue to strengthen local communities.
