The funeral of Shapoor Zadran, the former fast bowler of Afghanistan’s national cricket team, is expected to arrive in Kabul tomorrow at around 4:30 PM.
According to reports, the funeral prayer for the late Shapoor Zadran will be held on Thursday at Eidgah Mosque in Kabul. A number of cricket players, government officials, and fans are expected to attend the ceremony.
Meanwhile, the ongoing 11th season of the Shpageeza Cricket League in Khost Province has also been postponed for two days following Shapoor Zadran’s death.
Shapoor Zadran was among the founding figures and prominent players of Afghan cricket, playing a significant role in the national team’s international successes. He passed away in a hospital in India after a prolonged illness.
