“The spokesperson of the Taliban’s Supreme Court says that in a special session in Kabul, Zabul, and Sar-e-Pul provinces, 23 individuals were sentenced to flogging, ranging from 10 to 39 lashes, for crimes committed against the people.
He added that due to the severity of these individuals’ crimes, the court has also sentenced them to imprisonment for a period ranging from 7 months to 3 years and 3 months. According to the spokesperson, these actions have been taken to prevent crimes and strengthen social order.”
