Sources from have stated that today (Wednesday), the talks between Afghanistan and Pakistan will commence in China. The sources mentioned that it is still unclear who will be part of the negotiating teams for both sides. Additionally, neither the Taliban nor the Pakistani government has officially commented on the negotiations so far.
Previously, talks between the two sides had been held in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, but no clear outcome was reached.
